Hanging Driftwood
I see these things hanging at beach houses and think they’re pretty neat. I collected some small driftwood on our last beach trip and finally got around to making my own. We’ll see if my nylon holds out. I may need to use some heavy weight fishing line.
Mother’s Day
Grandmother memory book. I made this book using Word, free fonts, my child, and my book binder.

Teacher Appreciation
The PTSA at my work did an incredible job for teacher appreciation week. They had an entire week of Dr. Seuss themed events and decor. This Lorax showed up on the staff lounge door. I made the Lorax Thank You card.
The sports card was for Gabe’s PE teacher and the apple card was for his classroom teacher.

I used the sailboat from B is for Boy and waves from the Cricut sampler.

This was one of my favorite Craftroom freebies. It has a lot of fun images and a unique font.

Iron Curtain
My grandma came up with that clever name for our new pot rack. Next time we buy a house it will have a much larger kitchen and a pantry. Patrick got a lot of new baking accessories for Christmas and I got some new cast iron. Something had to be done. I saw this on Pinterest and loved it. We got the rods from Ikea and thankfully they just happened to line up perfectly with the window and wall studs.
Now, we just need some copper pots.

Nurse Owl Get Well
I found a really cute owl nurse card on Pinterest, but couldn’t find the same owl on Cricut. I used the owl from Create-a-Critter and made the hat using Craftroom and various shapes.

Santa’s Workshop Sign
I know, I know, Christmas was forever ago. This is one of the projects I actually finished in time for Christmas.
A friend of mine has a fancy saw that can cut out shapes, and he was able to cut the sign for me. I used my Cricut to create stencils and painted everything and then sanded it.
